| Replaced factory tanfo SS guiderod that was straight, with this contoured guiderod.
While this new one fits correctly, and does not cause any adverse changes to the way the pistol operates, the only advantage is when installing and removing the guiderod assembly for cleaning, making it slightly easier to take it out and put back in. Other than that, don't really see the point to it. Find myself switching back and forth between the two with no difference in operation, so for me has limited or no value.
Plastic shock buffers fit both guiderods equally well.
Full 5 stars because it works correctly, as described. |

| There is no option to upload pics but I bought TWO of the outstanding Hennung Guide Rods for my TWO pistols: 1) 10mm IFG Defiant Stock1 and 2) 10mm Wonder Finish Full Size ALL Steel 4.5inch Barrel Tanfoglio Witness.
I compared the TWO: the IFG Defiant and the Tanfoglio Witness "Original, Factory Guide Rods" with the New Henning Guide Rod and there is definitely a clear improvement in design and quality.
Im very happy with my New Henning Guide Rods and with my purchase experience with the HenningGroup Shop.
***FYI, given I have 10mm Pistols, I was given honest and professional advice to go with Steel Guide Rods instead of Aluminum- please take that info into consideration

| Outstanding product, and superior to the factory guide rod in both of my Tanfoglio standard-length large-frame Witnesses (40-S&W and 10-mm). The cone-fit guide rod base most certainly reduces wear at the mating surface between the guide rod base and the frame. Aesthetically the guide rods are beautiful, and enhance the appearance of the Wonder-Finishes on the Witness 4.5-inch pistol. |
