Works perfectly for what I needed. Pistols with a magwell flare can not use standard magazines because of the oem base plate design. When removal of the flared magazine well is not possible, the oem baseplate has to be replaced. The EAA base plate option costs more then this slim base plate.

Perfect upgrade from the factory plastic/polymer basepad, especially if you have a steel-frame gun. Then you need these just for the aesthetic! :)
